Tetrasodium EDTA is an organic compound with the molecular formula C10H12N2Na4O8 and a molecular weight of 380.17.Tetrasodium EDTA, also known as tetrasodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate, is a white powder. It is readily soluble in water.
It is used as a water softener, a multivalent chelating agent, a fixing solution for bleaching and rinsing color photographic materials, and an activator for styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR).
Product Applications
Used as a soft water agent, chelating agent, initiator for styrene butadiene rubber polymerization, initiator for acrylic fibers, dyeing auxiliaries, detergent auxiliaries, etc. It is also used in chemical analysis for titration, capable of accurately titrating various metal ions, and has wide applications.
